Of course, procrastinator that I am, I wait until Sunday evening to attempt a weekend project. I ran out of time to continue with the one I was working on... still waiting for the paint to dry. In the meantime, I thought, why not try a small item? I'm still learning about various types of art that the bloggers I visit are doing, and I thought I'd try my hand at something a little different than I normally do.
That sounds good, doesn't it? What I have is a shiny piece of art, a busted up tube of E-6000 and, yet again, super glue fingers. I think I've ended up with more questions than answers. What products should I be using? How can I make my cut-outs blend in a little better? And what else should I add? It definitely needs something. My ideas were good, however, I'm a little frustrated with the outcome. I would love to take some classes, and wish I had a mentor (and a big girl camera).
I'd love your input! Constructive criticism and helpful hints will be much appreciated!
Hi Devonay,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you--a vacation isn't one unless it's at the beach...lol
And I love your mixed media...it's so fun to experiment with all these
awesome images, isn't it? And I love that it's original and totally your own!!!
Sending (((hugs))) your way,
Cindy
Thanks Cindy. I think that I needed to get that one out of the way so I would have a better idea how to get the look I really want. I'm going to keep practicing!
