I had good intentions. Actually, I have them a LOT! I went to the super-awesome Goodwill Shop and Hop with a bunch of really cool ladies and thoroughly enjoyed myself! We had one month to take our finds and come up with a finished product. The event was hosted by these lovely ladies above... Beckie @ Infarrantly Creative and Sarah @ Thrifty Decor Chick. (Gotta check them out!)
We started our day at Bucca De Beppo (YUM!) I sat at a table with a group of ladies that I'd never met, we chatted and got to know each other a little before we started out in the rain for our big adventure. I was sooo proud of myself for remembering to take my camera. We got to the first Goodwill, and the camera died when I attempted to take the first picture. Guess who forgot the new batteries? So needless to say, I've borrowed these pics from the other gal's posts. (Thanks!)
Seriously! It was this much fun all day! In spite of the steady rain, we found some amazing bargains and I met some fabulously creative women. I can't wait to go again!
Have I completed my projects? No. Procrastinator that I am, I thought "Oh, I'll have plenty of time". THEN I got bronchitis, sinusitis, missed over one week of work and in the middle of all that, my Papaw passed away. So now I'm back, ready to take on the world, and hopefully finish those projects!
